Misterul și valoarea artei Transilvănene.

Discover Tarnava Mare

The Tarnava Mare area is located in Eastern Europe, in Romania, South Transylvania. This area takes pride in having some of the most important landscapes and rich, intact bio-diversity in European Depressions.

This area is one of the last remaining medieval settlements in Europe, with approximately 100.000 people living in these saxon villages. An area that has remained virtually unchanged for the past 800 years.

Surrounded by landscapes of outstanding natural beauty and bio-diversity, this region has been looked after by farmers over hundreds of years and can only be kept as such by continuing the ecological agrarian practices and by promoting the nowadays local products.
